Terms of use
Last updated: 8 October 2026
These terms apply to this website, the Nitya waitlist, and the free Nitya pilot. Please read them together with our privacy policy.
Who we are
Nitya is provided by Taranuka AB, a company registered in Sweden. Our contact details are at the end of this page.
The waitlist
Joining the waitlist is free and doesn't guarantee a place in the pilot. We may contact you about the pilot, and you can leave the waitlist at any time by writing to info_nitya@taranuka.com.
The pilot
The pilot is free and by invitation. It is an early version of Nitya, so features may change, calls may sometimes fail, and we may pause or end the pilot. We will tell you before it ends, and before we ever ask you to pay.
What Nitya is, and what it isn't
Nitya is an AI companion that talks with your parent or grandparent and summarises the conversation for you. It can misunderstand what is said, and summaries can be incomplete or wrong.
Nitya is not a medical, emergency or care service. It doesn't give medical advice, it doesn't replace your own contact with your parent, and you must not rely on it for anyone's safety. In an emergency in India, call 112.
Your parent's agreement
You may only set up calls to someone who has agreed to receive them, and whose details you are allowed to share with us. Nitya will also ask for their agreement, and it stops calling whenever they ask.
Using Nitya fairly
- Give us accurate information, and keep it up to date.
- Don't set up calls to anyone without their agreement, or use Nitya to harass, deceive or monitor someone.
- Don't try to get around our security, overload the service, or sign up automatically.
Content
The website, the Nitya name and our materials belong to Taranuka AB. You keep your rights in what you and your family share with us, and you allow us to use it to provide the service as described in our privacy policy.
Our responsibility
We provide the free pilot as it is, and we are not liable for indirect losses or for decisions made on the basis of a summary. Nothing in these terms limits a responsibility that the law doesn't allow us to limit, or your rights as a consumer.
Changes, and ending
We may update these terms, and will tell you about important changes before they apply. You can stop using Nitya at any time, and we may end your access if these terms are broken.
Law
These terms are governed by Swedish law. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live.
